Bowen's Architecture Portfolio

The website designed by me, as my client Bowen's leading portfolio, will show the his main architecture projects.

Introduction

Bowen Zhao graduated from the University of Virginia. After studying Art History at the University of Washington, Seattle, he has gained a deep understanding of the architectural aesthetic. He then transfered to UVA to study architecture. The website includes some of the most important and different styles of architecture projects my client has previously completed. These projects will reflect the skills that inform his architectural work, showing my client's professional talent and credibility as an architect.

Challenges

  • Designing a website for a client with a sophisticated aesthetic and art historical knowledge poses the initial challenge. Striking a balance between their high standards and the designer's aesthetic choices becomes crucial.

  • The second challenge revolves around optimizing the user experience for a diverse audience, avoiding jargon, and emphasizing overall usability over intricate design elements.

  • Accessibility stands as the third hurdle, requiring meticulous inclusion of alt text for numerous portfolio images.

  • Ensuring compatibility across devices, especially considering the abundance of pictures, forms the fourth challenge.
